"I Think You Hear Us Coming"
CaRu Entertainment is looking for performers who are passionate about dance. We want to provide the opportunity for young people to dance at a semi-professional level, competing with other students around the country. We are looking for anyone who is ready to shine!
Our Philosophy
We want CaRu to be a place of opportunity. We encourage young people to try as many activities and involve themselves in the community as much as possible. We understand the importance of building versatile PEOPLE, not just dancers. CaRu will nurture your child and support them in their dream, whether it is professional dancing or not. The competition team would be used to promote team building, to get involved in the community, to provide performance opportunity and to allow those who love to dance another forum to do so. We will work around schedules, conflicts, and other obstacles to ensure that your child will still have the opportunity to dance and perform. (In order to provide more free time to try other activities, CaRu Competition team would only be required to attend Saturday or Sunday rehearsals/classes.)
* Schedule to be posted Sept. 23rdAt CaRu Entertainment, no dancer is more important than the next. Supporting one another is our number one rule and we, as teachers, must be held to the same standard, supporting each and every student and providing the same opportunities for all. We also want CaRu to be as stress-free for parents as possible. The director will provide all necessary information sheets in advance, to make preparation as easy as possible.
We also want your feedback! CaRu is open to suggestions, input and all questions! We want you to feel comfortable coming to us for anything that you need and we will always be available to you - so don’t hesitate reaching out to us; in fact- we want you to!
Pricing Info
With CaRu, you can be as involved as you like - participating in just one solo or multiple numbers. Again, we want this to be a place of opportunity, not stress. Please see attached pricing sheet for pricing breakdown.** Payment plans/options may be discussed with Cassie and agreed upon on an individual basis at first parent meeting after October 1st audition.
Qualifications
We would like all of our company members to have some performance and dance experience, however, we do encourage everyone to come and audition! We are looking for natural entertainers who enjoy moving. We believe that at CaRu, the teachers are responsible for providing the students with the necessary skills and tools to succeed. This is our goal for the first season of the company. And at CaRu, success is measured by improvement and attitude, not trophies.
